Died of TB.
Alex said he had a brother that served in the Civil War and died in Libby Prison.

My feeling is that this John Saenger is not our John Anthony Sanger.
The birth year is right and the arrival date would be about right since he was in Detroit in 1855 since Frances was born in Detroit in 1856.
